Royal Enfield Electric Motorcycle Concept
This electric motorcycle is Royal Enfield's first product in the market. Initially called Electrik01 programming, hints of future versions include being launched in other markets aside from India. Even though it isn't yet a fully-revealed product, we can still get an idea of what aesthetics this company is going for. For starters, the main eye-grabbers are its front girder fork and that this design is ancient technology when compared to modern cars.
Because there's only one link, it was considered just as ineffective as motorcycles going faster around the corners. Telescopic bikes have the advantage of providing twice the clamping and rigidity. Today, USD forks are regarded as better because they're up top and offer more surface area for clamping, making them sharper when a rider is cornering.
We don't see any adjustment for the dampers, and as usual one spring. But there's two forks on Electrik01. We doubt this will change to conventional setup - Royal Enfield is likely to stick with its electric bike game, but then again it might go for girder forks too.

Design
The Electrik01 concept, while an electric motorcycle, comes with a fuel tank which is likely to be purely aesthetic. This indicates that RE will stick to its roots and offer a retro-styled or neo-retro styled motorcycle when produced. Elements such as round headlights and curvaceous lines are found on the Electrik01. This concept also gets a futuristic chassis with production bikes sporting a conventional chassis for better mass production.
Though the British brand has taken years to launch a new product in the past, it might be safe to guess that their first electric bike will also take some time. The timeframe could even be extra long because this is their first electric bike and they're not in any particular hurry. Royal Enfield will take all the time they need to make sure that when they do release an electric bike, it meets and surpasses everyone's expectations.
