The Citroen C3 trails their rivals by a notable margin in terms of sales volume. Unfortunately, the C3 falls short of other small economy cars in some key metrics like interior space and build quality. Still, it comes packed with premium features not usually found on other cars at this price point such as a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with support for wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. There are quite a few features missing, such as alloy wheels, IRVM dimmer, and more. Customers may be turned off by these limitations and look for other options.
2023 Citroen C3 new top-spec variant
Citroen is working on a new top-spec variant of the C3. It will include a few new features as well as some borrowed from the Brazil-spec C3. Citroen may also introduce an all-electric C3 that will go up against the Tata Tiago EV, and the upcoming MG Air EV. Citroen may add a CNG option to the C3 in the future.
Spotted in its natural habitat, the new C3 is shown with a new brown hue. The existing colors for C3 are white, orange, dark grey, and light grey- these colors have been used for dual-tone versions of the car. The brown hue looks more subdued and seems to complement the car's overall design and styling.

The new C3 has all the things C3 lovers love, like an advanced version of the 1.2 litre engine and a host of comfort and safety features. All those Brazil-specific features from the old C3 are still available, including leather seats, an audio system and three-point seatbelts on all five seats. Our engineers will also work to include a rear parking camera.
The Citroen C3 has a lot of features to offer, including halogen headlamps and LED daytime running lights. It also has a front skid plate, steel wheels and roof rails. Inside, the Citroen C3 offers fabric upholstery and chrome accents. Plus, it provides Bluetooth connectivity, steering mounted controls and 12V socket at the front. The Citroen C3 even offers remote keyless entry for extra convenience!
Citroen C3 engine options
The engine options are expected to be the same as earlier. There's a 1.2-litre NA petrol motor that churns out 82 PS of max power and 115 Nm of peak torque. It is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. Rated fuel efficiency is 19.8 kmpl. The other engine option is a 1.2-litre turbo petrol motor that makes 110 PS and 190 Nm with a 6-speed manual transmission. Fuel efficiency is 19.44 kmpl.
The automotive industry never stops developing, and with this in mind, it is possible that the automatic transmission option will be introduced with the C3 next year. The turbo petrol variant is also likely to come as part of this range of improvements next year. The new top-spec model of the C3 will cost somewhat more than the current collection of models.
