Maruti S-Presso S-CNG Launched
Maruti Suzuki announced that the 2020 S-Presso will feature Dual Jet, a new engine with valves actuated by shims and two VVT’s. CNG efficiency isn't higher than what Celerio offers. This isn't the first time Maruti Suzuki has had this happen.
The newly launched S-Presso S-CNG is an SUV-inspired design that has garnered a lot of attention. It offers additional comfort, especially for first-time buyers. With over 2.26 lakh units sold, expect excellent success in the upcoming months as well.

Maruti has announced the arrival of a new model in its S-Series of vehicles: the Maruti S-Presso S-CNG. The S-Presso just like all other models in its lineup is equipped with a powerful and dynamic drivetrain. Furthermore, this model comes with some added benefits as it has been fitted with a factory installed CNG kit.
Specs and Pricing
S-Presso S-CNG's engine delivers a peak power output up to 41.7kW (56.69 PS) at 5,300 RPM and max torque of 82.1Nm at 3,400 RPM in CNG Mode. When driven on fuel, the engine produces up to 65.26 PS of peak power at 5,500 RPM and 89 Nm of torque at 3,500 RPM from the petrol version.
Maruti S-Presso is available in five different variants. The S-Presso 5-speed manual gearbox comes as standard equipment, while the S-CNG systems are available in three variants- the LXi with manual gearbox, the VXi that has an automatic gearbox, and the LXi with automatic gearbox. The price for a new Maruti S-Presso starts at Rs. 5.9 lakh for the LXi variant and goes up to Rs. 6.10 lakh for the VXi variant (both prices ex-showroom).
Maruti Suzuki currently has 10 S-CNG models on offer, and competes with Hyundai and Tata Motors, which have also ventured into CNG space. Maruti has no competitors that are anywhere near their products like the Alto S-CNG, Celerio S-CNG, WagonR S-CNG and others of their kind.
