Indian politician Yogi Adityanath is best known for his role as Uttar Pradesh’s Chief Minister. His original name is Ajay Singh Bisht. He was born on June 5, 1972, in a small village in Pauri Garhwal. Uttarakhand was a part of Uttar Pradesh when he was born. Yogi achieved his early education in the Pauri Garhwal district of Uttarakhand and spent his years at Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University (HNB Garhwal University) to earn his Bachelor of Science degree. During his B.Sc., mathematics was one of his favorite subjects and one where he excelled particularly well. In addition to this, he enjoyed playing badminton and swimming during those school days when he was passionate about upholding the Ram Mandir movement all over India with Mahant Avaidyanath.
In 1993, he graduated and moved to Gorakhpur. In 1994, he left home and became a Yogi after receiving initiation from Mahant Avaidyanath of the Gorakhnath temple. After this, when Yogi Adityanath's family learned that he had become a sanyasi, his father went to Gorakhpur but didn't succeed in convincing him to come home. Instead, he retired and started participating in elections. He ran for the first time in the Lok Sabha elections in 1997 and won.
He formed Hindu Yuva Vahini after becoming an MP, but this organization is constantly embroiled in controversy. Yogi Adityanath won the Lok Sabha elections for the fifth consecutive time from Gorakhpur.
Having run the election campaign for our guru Mahant Avaidyanath in 1996, he got his start in politics by being elected as the nominee for the Gorakhpur constituency seat in 1998.
When he won the Gorakhpur seat in the first Lok Sabha election in 1998, he became the youngest Member of Parliament.
Upon winning the Gorakhpur election in politics, Yogi Adityanath became a Hindutva zealot. He established Hindu Youth Wing, which was called Hindu Yuva Vahini. It was based on all Hindutva traditions. In 1998, 1999, 2004, 2009, and 2014, he was elected as an Individual from Gorakhpur Constituency to the Lok Sabha and won all of his races.
He held positions in the Committee on Food, Civil Supplies, and Public Distribution, as the Member of the Department of Sugar and Edible Oils, and the Consultative Committee as a result of his repeated success as an MP. He was given a new position as Uttar Pradesh's 22nd Chief Minister on March 18, 2017, after BJP won Uttar Pradesh's election with the most votes. He took office on March 19, 2017.

In a Rajput family, Yogi Adityanath was born Ajay Mohan Singh Bisht on 5 June 1972 in Panchur, Pauri Garhwal, Uttar Pradesh (now in Uttarakhand).
He completed his bachelor's degree in mathematics from the Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University in Uttarakhand. Around the 1990s, he joined the Ayodhya Ram temple movement and became a disciple of Mahant Avaidyanath, the chief of the Gorakhnath Math, at the same time.
