The following qualifications are required for Indian Navy Recruitment 2023:
Navik (General Duty)
The candidate must have passed the 10+2 with Math and Physics from a board recognized by the Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE).
Navik (Domestic Branch)
Class 10th must be passed by a school board recognized by the Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE).
The Indian Navy Recruitment notification states that candidates must be at least 18 years of age, with a maximum age limit of 22 years.
Selected candidates will receive a salary of Rs. 21700/- per month on a pay scale level 3 (Indian Navy Recruitment notification).
Applicants are required to pay Rs. 300 as application fees.
SC/ST candidates are exempt from the payment of application fees.
Four stages of the examination will be conducted to select candidates.
(i) Written examination
(i) Document verification provisionally passes or fails.
(iiii) Biometric recording
Based on the online examination, shortlisted candidates will be issued provisional E-admit cards for stage II.

(iii) Initial Medical Examination
Based on the performance in Stage-I & Stage II, an all-India merit list will be prepared and a provisional E-admit card for Stage III will be issued as per the vacancies available and ratio decided by ICG.

(iii) Submission of original documents, police verification, & other associated forms.
The selected candidates who cleared Stage III and stand in merit as per the vacancies available will be provisionally shortlisted for training at INS Chilka.

Upon selection, selected candidates will be appointed for a tenure of 10 years, which can be further extended by four years in two terms (02+02 years).
