For the post of Probationary Clerk, the South Indian Bank has invited applications from Indian Nationals. South Indian Bank Recruitment 2023 has begun the online application process on 1st February, and the last date to apply online is 12th February 2023. The South Indian Bank Recruitment 2023 is only open to candidates who meet the requisite eligibility criteria.
Graduation in Arts/ Science/ Commerce/ Engineering stream under Regular Course.
X/ SSLC, XII/ HSC/Diploma & Graduation with minimum 60% marks.
Diploma applicable only if Graduation is in Engineering.
Not more than 26 years. Candidate should be born not earlier than 01.02.1997 and not later than 31.01.2005 (both days inclusive)
Candidates having permanent addresses in the respective state or those who have been residing in the same state continuously for the last 5 years can apply.
Should be proficient in the local language apart from English.
The selection process for South Indian Bank Recruitment 2023 includes two stages:
Online Exam
Interview
Initial shortlisting will be based on the marks scored in the Online Test.
The final Selection will be based on the consolidated marks obtained for Online Test & Interview.
The online exam for South Indian Bank Recruitment 2023 will take place on 18th February 2023.
The online test is conducted virtually on a remote proctored basis. The credentials and other information regarding the same will be shared with the registered email id of the applicants on or before 15.02.2023. The candidates shall compulsorily attend the Mock Assessment either on 16th or 17th February 2023 to check/ avoid system-related issues/glitches, if any.
Candidates shall compulsorily ensure the minimum system requirements/ compatibility before Online Test. The Bank will not be responsible if the candidates face any network issues/ glitches etc. during the Online Test and candidates will not be permitted to reschedule the Online Test.
The test is to be taken on a Laptop/ Desktop only. Mobile Device is NOT accepted
The Online Test is proctored remotely with multiple checks including Image monitoring, Audio/ Video monitoring, and Browser monitoring looking for behavior that could indicate unfair practices.
The exam pattern is as follows:
1. Reasoning/ Data Analysis & Interpretation - Total Questions -25 & Total marks-25
2. General, Economic Awareness and Banking Awareness-Total Questions -25 & Total marks-25
3. English Language- Total Questions -25 & Total marks-25

Selected Candidates for the post of Probationary Clerk in South Indian Bank will be required to serve on a 6-month probation period before confirmation is granted, based on satisfactory performance. A service agreement period of 3 years is applicable and those selected will be provided with basic pay on IBA approved pay scale ranging from Rs. 17900 to 47920, as well as Performance Linked Incentives (PLI).
