Andhra Pradesh Housing Board
The Andhra Pradesh Housing Board was founded in 1960 by merging the erstwhile City Improvement Board and Town Improvement Trust of Twin Cities to establish a regional authority for integrated housing development and management in urban areas.
The Town Improvement Trust of Secunderabad was created in 1931 with the same goal as many other trusts: the development of land for large-scale development.
Affordable housing is a key goal for the Home Board, which provides shelter to those who need it at a price they can afford.
