Jamnagar Area Development Authority (JADA) was formed on 1/2/1978 due to the growing population in Jamnagar, India. The goal of JADA is to create a sustainable place for business and commerce which doesn't fall under the jurisdiction of Jamnagar Municipal Corporation.
The authority is also responsible for developing the infrastructures like road, sewerage, water supply and other basic civic amenities. Besides, it manages the implementation of town planning schemes and monitors the development activities.
