The Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA) is the planning and development authority for the Pune Metropolitan Region. Formed in 2015 with an area of 7,256.46 km2 (2,801.73 sq mi) and a population of 7.276 million (approximately), it is the largest urban unit in Maharashtra.
PMRDA has envisioned an unprecedented approach towards sustainable growth of the region. Believing in organized progress and digital information access to all stakeholders, we're on track to creating a region with a high livability index - one that will stand tall when compared to other regions around the world.
