Oppo has now introduced its first clamshell phone, the Find N2 Flip, to India and other global markets. This follows the release of the foldable phone in China in December 2022.
The Find N2 Flip folds horizontally and has a 6.8-inch primary screen, which supports a 120Hz refresh rate and is E6 AMOLED in nature. There's also a secondary screen on the outer cover that spans 3.26 inches, as well as an AMOLED display that displays notifications, music, animated animals, and more. It's not as small as the Galaxy Z Flip 4's secondary display but it's large enough and placed vertically.
The Flexion Hinge has a no-gap design, which has been hailed as the smallest crease ever. There's also a Flexform mode that allows the phone to bend by up to 110 degrees and can take selfies, time-lapse videos, and even frame the camera.
A 50MP main camera with a Sony IMX790 sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide lens is included in the package for photography. Also included in the package is a 32MP front camera. Oppo's MariSilicon X NPU enhances the camera performance of the Find N2 Flip, which features Hasselblad branding. Among the camera's features are Dual Preview, Quick Hi-Res Selfies, DV recording, 4K videos, and Xpan mode modeled after the Hasselblad.
The phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ chipset, which is a top-of-the-line chip. It has 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, as well as a 4,300mAh battery that supports 44W fast charging.
The device also comes with Android 13-based ColorOS 13 (with 4 major updates and 5 security updates), NFC support, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and much more.
Currently, the Oppo Find N2 Flip is priced at €849 (Rs 75,000) for its 8GB+256GB model. We do not know the Indian pricing and availability details, but they will be announced soon.
